Korean Tummy Craze at Don Day Fresh Restaurant
Korean mania strikes Philippines...from koreanovela to Gangnam style dance craze...and now food. This is my first time to try Korean food. I've been hearing a lot of people enjoying Korean dishes, so as an adventurous foodie like me I really like to try it but I am looking for a very good alternative for an expensive restaurant that will offer quality and affordable authentic Korean dishes. ('sing sarap pero di 'sing mahal) -being a thrifty foodie.

Yummy Reyes Barbecue
Tummy craving strikes again. We are strolling at SM Marilao and looking for something new to dine. Unfortunately, we had tried almost all of the fast food there and nothing unusual.
Then we decided to eat at Reyes Barbecue. We've been here a lot of times, especially when kids are craving for java rice...which they refer it as "dilaw na kanin". I really love their java rice, because the taste is not just typical rice with yellow color, you will really feel the distinct flavor of garlic and not oily.

Bon Chon Chicken
We (of course, with my foodie partner, my hubby) first saw it at SM Mall of Asia.. We were very curious then and like to give it a shot because there's a lot of people eating there. For us "plenty of customer means great food". We checked first the price, though it's quite hard to read on the display at the back of the counter for we are both near sighted. Unfortunately, because of queue and we are really hungry, we decided to try some other time. But don't know when =(

Blend 45 Kapeng Pinoy: Puti
When coffee craving comes...well my 3+1 coffee is always on the rescue...
I must say that I love coffee, but I am more on the type of coffee that is just mild-tasting and creamy...
There's a lot of 3 in 1 coffee available in the market..Coffee makers are always reinventing and innovating with new flavors to suit the taste buds of their consumers. And most of the time, when I see a new one, I usually tried it.
One time, when I was at the grocery and about to pick my favorite creamy 3+1 coffee, I noticed this one...

Maxim Coffee Mix
My usual breakfast is just a sip of 3+1 coffee and hot pandesal...but unfortunately, I ran out of coffee...I didn't have much time to go out of the office to buy one for I only have 15mins break...
Good thing, a friend gave me this.

CAGAYAN DE ORO ESCAPADE
Our trip to Cagayan De Oro last 2010 is my first time to travel via airplane..and maybe the farthest so far...Cagayan De Oro., Northern Mindanao. Imagine, it is
only because we attended an out of town company convention, if not…maybe until
now I may not be able to experience riding an airplane. Since we are already
there, we made sure to do side tripping and explore the City of Friendship.
Tokyo Tokyo Philippines
Japanese food usually have spot in
my tummy cravings. So when cravings strike and we don’t have much budget the
first thing that comes into our mind is TOKYO TOKYO, not because we do not have
any choice, simply because it satisfies our cravings for Japanese food like
Tonkatsu , tempura and katsudon (except sushi). Especially now, that they reinvented and improved
a lot, in terms of taste and price.

If you are craving for a budget friendly Japanese food, well this could be a great suggestion for you guys.
My hubby and I love to try different kind of dining and food trip experience. Good thing, it was featured in POPTALK way back year 2011and we really have to find it and give it a try. We also love Japenese food since my inlaws also cook Japanese food when they got the chance to visit the Philippines and we usually ate at Japanese fastfood in the mall. That's why hearing about this carenderia excites me because i would be able to try something new...
