Tokyo Tokyo Philippines

Japanese food usually have spot in my tummy cravings. So when cravings strike and we don’t have much budget the first thing that comes into our mind is TOKYO TOKYO, not because we do not have any choice, simply because it satisfies our cravings for Japanese food like Tonkatsu , tempura and katsudon (except sushi). Especially now, that they reinvented and improved a lot, in terms of taste and price.

And my ultimate fave is their sumo bento meal--Sumo Remix particularly Fried chicken Karaage and Beef Misono and most importantly their unlimited rice or what they call as "Eat-All-You-Kanin"  =)

Yum!!! Yum!!Yum!!

Beef Misono
What I like about their version of fried chicken karaage is that it is boneless, the aroma, deep fried until it reaches your desired crunchiness yet really juicy and flavorful inside.

Karaage  pronounced /ˌkærəˈɑːɡeɪ/ karr-ə-ah-gay in English, is Japanese cooking technique in which various foods — most often meat and fish — are deep fried in oil. Small pieces of the food are marinated in a mix of soy sauce, garlic, and/or ginger, then lightly coated with a seasoned wheat flour or potato starch mix, and fried in a light oil — similar to the preparation of tempura.- source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karaage

We seasons it with tempura sauce (we usually ask for refill for the sauce) =)
