Butter Beer at The Nook: a Harry Potter Themed Cafe

Good news to all Harry Potter enthusiast out there! The Nook cafe is a place that you must try. When my husband and I first visited the place, we really enjoyed the ambiance and its Harry Potter themed concept. The food and drinks are also worth the price. 

What we really enjoyed there is their signature BUTTER BEER, a famous foaming wizard beverage. Now, we're back with kids with us this time.... After few attempts ,at last we got the chance to visit it again. Since the place is quite small, you really need to wait until there's an available slot for you. 

There are more space up stairs where you can find some Harry Potter's books. 

Of course your visit here will not be completed without trying out their signature Butter Beer. At first the kids is quite hesitant to try it coz they thought that it's really beer, and drinking beer is not for kids. There Butter Beer is non alcoholic and just taste like a butterscotch. 

We ordered Harry's mug ( P100.00) for the kids..

Affordable.. Yummy and Colorful Burger...Mr. Swabergers

     Have you ever think of eating a very tasty burger in different colors? what about cheese sauce, cream cheese, mozerella, quick melt cheese in your burger? Well..we found this new tambayan which is highly recommended for BURGER lovers out there....only at MR. SWABERGERS!

Burger price ranges from P35 - P110 only. An additional charge of P5 for colored bun. They also allows you to create your own burger by choosing different add on for a minimum charge.

 At first we were hesitant about the taste of the patty because of its affordable price...the quality and taste might suffer...but well... to our surprise its really yummy and delicious..and because of its uniqueness for presenting their buns in different colors ( regular, white, black, red and green) it makes the burger more delightful and enticing.

I just hope that they offer more options for drinks for they only have softdrinks and water i guess.. It will be more refreshing having milk tea, shake or other drinks instead. =)

The place is not really a classy type of restaurant..although its already airconditioned..(but it was not working when went there that's why its quite hot) ...but its clean  and very simple having few wooden chairs and tables inside and a couple outside..with exhaust and fan for ventillation.

The staff are also accommodating and friendly.

Overall..Thumps up! We will definitely go back there soon...

Eat-All-You-Can at Yakimix

I've been hearing a lot about Yakimix which offers Japanese, Korean and Chinese Cuisine...good thing there is a new branch at SM North EDSA. Though it's actually peak hour when we visited there, fortunately we didn't need to wait long because there were still vacant tables. I love the ambiance and the crews were accommodating.

RSM Lutong Bahay

It is actually our first time to eat here. A friend suggested that the food here is nice and well known. and he usually dine here everytime he's within the area. It is located at Manduya, Carmona Cavite which is almost within the boundary between Calamba, Laguna and Carmona Cavite. I've heard that they also have branches in Laguna, Tagaytay and in Dasmarinas Cavite.

The most affordable and yummy ribs ever!!!!...A two-storey establishment in a small place...i guess about 6 sets of tables and chairs (4 persons/set). Ground floor is for the ordering counter and second floor is their dining area. It may not that spacious but the food there is the thing that you would surely come back for. When the first time we've been there I really fell in love with the food..especially with their specialty, the baby back ribs that is very tender and tasty and flavorful.

Yummy Reyes Barbecue

Tummy craving strikes again. We are strolling at SM Marilao and looking for something new to dine. Unfortunately, we had tried almost all of the fast food there and nothing unusual. 

Then we decided to eat at Reyes Barbecue. We've been here a lot of times, especially when kids are craving for java rice...which they refer it as "dilaw na kanin". I really love their java rice, because the taste is not just typical rice with yellow color, you will really feel the distinct flavor of garlic and not oily.

Pagkaing Pinoy ...Mga Paborito ni Juan Dela Cruz

I do love Filipino food...It is not the first time we've eaten here. Most of the time, when we are at Mall of Asia, after checking where to dine..we usually end up eating at Kalye Juan especially when I am craving for bagoong rice. I recommend this if you are looking for a lutong bahay type of food. They offer variety of yummy Filipino dishes that are freshly cook...unlike the one in the food court.

Teriyaki Boy

It has been one of my foodie partner( Arvin)  favorite dine pick when it comes to Japanese food. We used to dine here but since we already found other Japanese food at more affordable price we seldom dine there now.  It's quite pricey but reasonable especially to those who love Japanese food.

Good news that there is already Teriyaki Boy at Petron-Nlex Northbound stopover. Hunger stike, there's a lot of fastfood to choose from and since we miss Yakemishi rice, we treat ourselves again at Teriyaki Boy. 

Our favorite is their Yakemishi  P 48 (Japanese Fried rice),  Teriyaki Boy Chicken  P195 ( a flavorful grilled boneless chicken with teriyaki boy sauce), Gyoza P110 (Japenese pork dumplings ) , Mango shake P65 (ripe mango).
