Best Tasting Puto Bumbong in Malabon

Puto Bumbong is a Filipino's favorite delicacy made up of glutinous rice that is traditionally served during Christamas season and usually sold outside Catholic Churches.  Its name is literally means  Puto ( steamed glutinous rice ) and Bumbong (bamboo). It only takes few minutes to cook it. Apart from Glutinous rice, it also has a special toppings of sugar, margarine and matured grated coconut sometimes with cheese to make it more special then wrapped in banana leaf and usually in an old news paper.

When it comes to Puto Bumbong still nothing beats Malabon's Puto bumbong that is available all year round. We found this store in Malabon "Mother Lily's Special Puto Bumbong".  Their Puto bumbong is different from the others because it is thicker and flavorful. For only P25 you be able to enjoy 3 pieces of Tasty Puto Bumbong.
