I do like to enjoy foodies in a unique way. This time I tried this rolled pizza from Yellow Cab. The first time I've seen its ads....again... curiosity strikes since the preparation is different from typical triangular shape pizza that you just have to eat. What unique with Dear Darla Pizza is that you have to rolled a thin rectangular strips of crust pizza with toppings of pepperoni, button mushroom, tomatoes and black olives then loaded with fresh arugula leaves and alfalfa sprouts for its unique experience. If you're wondering where it derived its name, actually it is from the movie Little Rascals characters Darla and Alfalfa.
So, aside from enjoying its delicious pizza taste you will also enjoy its health benefits because of fresh veggies fillings. I love the crunchiness of the veggies and surprisingly it doesn't taste bitter as I thought. It really gives a unique experience in eating your pizza. Prices are P320 (10" regular ), P510 (14" large) and P650 ( 18" New Yorker ). A must try.
Alfalfa sprouts are a surprisingly potent source of dietary protein and also good for digestion, weight loss and cholesterol reduction while Arugula leaves are a rich, dark green color. It has a peppery, mustard-like flavor,is a rich source of iron, and is high in vitamins A and C.
